1. Data Visualisation is not about creating presentations which are flashy, glossy, and ‘clever’. Why not? Because making things pretty doesn’t automatically mean that the audience understand why they are looking at what they are looking at. And that’s when they switch off and we’ve lost them.
2. Data Visualisation is all about finding messages within data and conveying that message in an intuitive way for the audience. The aim is to use our creativity to convey complex data through simple, memorable messages.
3. Data Visualisation can be used to create powerful ‘spice’ perhaps at the start, middle or end of a presentation. Alternatively it can help us to create meaningful documentation. Or even to use a whiteboard more effectively.
Good data visualisation helps us bring our communication well into the 21st century.
The workshop can be adjusted in line with customer’s needs and goals.The training is a blend of trainer inputs, activity and feedback and is hands-on, practical and reality-focused.
